May 31 - Prince Harry plays charity polo match and rubs shoulders with celebrity A-listers during his first official visit to New York.
Prince Harry wrapped up his first official visit to the Big Apple with a charity polo match and a victorious dousing in champagne.
Before taking to the polo field, Harry mingled with the rich and famous inside a champagne tent.
Celebrities turning out to support Prince Harry's charity included Madonna and hip hop star LL Cool J.
The proceeds from the event went to a charity established by Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho called Sentebale which is supporting orphans and vulnerable children in Lesotho, Africa.
In a brief remark made inside the champagne tent, Harry said his late mother Princess Diana's love for New York made the occasion "all the more poignant" for him.
(SOUNDBITE) (English) PRINCE HARRY SAYING: "Prince Seeiso and I both lost our mothers when we were young. We set up Sentebale in their memory and, because my mother loved this city, it makes this occasion all the more poignant for me."
