Sep. 25 - On Capitol Hill, some Democrats and Republicans have reached agreement in principle on a bailout plan for the U.S. financial crisis.
Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee Sen. Christopher Dodd (D-Connecticut) said, "We believe that we are prepared to act expeditiously on a package to our colleagues that will allow us to send a message to the markets that Congress heard the message and we want to do what's correct and right in the next few days."
