Obama defers to Bush on Gaza

Jan. 6 - President-elect Barack Obama once again refused to offer an opinion on the ongoing fighting in Gaza-- saying he will defer to President Bush.

Obama -- at a news conference-- said his budget is still being assembled with Democrats in Congress-- but entitlements-- social security and medicaid -- would face the same scrutiny for cuts as other spending programs. Jon Decker reports. SOUNDBITE: President-elect Barack Obama
