ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Following the surprise success of the first 'Guardians of the Galaxy', it was only a matter of time that a sequel would come along and on Wednesday (April 19) in Hollywood, 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' had its world premiere. Once again Chris Pratt's Peter Quill (or Star-Lord as he likes to be called) leads his team - the green-skinned Gamora (Zoe Saldana), the musclebound Drax (Dave Bautista), the tree being Groot (Vin Diesel) and the racoon-like Rocket (Bradley Cooper) - into trouble. The trouble this time comes from two sources - a gold-skinned alien race led by Ayesha (Elizabeth Debicki) and Quill's errant father Ego (Kurt Russell). Also, joining the team on their travels are the violently petulant Nebula (Karen Gillen), the blue-skinned Yondu (Michael Rooker) and Mantis (Pom Kelmentieff), an empathic alien. With much of the cast painted in different colors and with most of the film shot on green screen, the actors at the premiere explained how strange the experience was but Pratt shrugged it off saying "Acting is embarrassing, you know. In the end, the end result is really cool usually, hopefully but in the moment it can be really embarrasing so there's pretty weird and embarrasing moments." It was announced this week that director James Gunn will be returning to helm the third in the franchise. 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2', which features a host of cameos including David Hasselhoff, will be released in cinemas internationally from April 25.
