Darwin Martinez Torres has been charged in the death of 17-year-old Nabra Hassanen. A body believed to be hers was found on Sunday. Police say Torres got out of his car in Sterling, Virginia, and assaulted Hassanen, a Muslim, after a roadside dispute early Sunday morning. They say she was among friends heading for their last meal before fasting for Ramadan when the attack occurred. The friends fled and called for help, but it was too late. Classmates at South Lakes High School are still trying to make sense of the tragedy. (SOUNDBITE) (English) AALIYAH ROSE, STUDENT, SAYING: "I was just shocked. My mom told me and I was look, whoa!" (SOUNDBITE) (English) ANNA HUFFER, STUDENT, SAYING: "At first people were like oh this girl is missing if you see her let us know. And people were like oh my god she's dead and people started freaking out. But the whole sophomore class came together and we all agreed to wear black to honor her." Police say the attack is not being investigated as a hate crime.
