The star drivers were out in force...as well as some star name musical acts. F1 Live saw thousands hit the streets of London to see the cream of Formula One perform around the capital's landmarks. But Lewis Hamilton snubbed the event on his home turf ahead of this weekend's British Grand Prix -- and rival Sebastian Vettel looked to twist the knife. (SOUNDBITE) (English) SEBASTIAN VETTEL, FERRARI, SAYING: "For sure we will try to hoepfully make the weekend very hard for him and hopefully finish ahead of him." With Silverstone exercising a break clause in its contract to host F1, the idea of one day holding a British Grand Prix through the capital's streets is being talked about as a real possibility. Mayor Sadiq Khan appears to be on board. (SOUNDBITE) (English) SADIQ KHAN, LONDON MAYOR, SAYING: "If F1 want to talk to us about bringing F1 to London, I'm happy to listen. There's some hurdles we'd have to overcome, but always happy to listen to great sporting events coming to London." The F1 Live event saw classic and modern Formula One cars roar down Whitehall in front of cheering fans, with music performances from Little Mix and the Kaiser Chiefs.
