Proving that experience counts for a lot in tennis. Roger Federer taking the crown at the men's singles final at Wimbledon on Sunday - his eighth such title. Ranked number 5 in the world, the 35-year-old beat Croatian Marin Cilic 6-3 6-1 6-4 to become the oldest man to claim the title in the professional era. It's the second final this weekend to be won in straight sets. On Saturday, Garbine Muguruza beat Venus Williams in the women's singles in similar style. Federer - in his 11th Wimbledon final - was challenged early on, but once he broke a nervous Cilic in the fifth game of the opening set the match became a no-contest. It was Cilic's first final - and he appeared overwhelmed, physically and mentally - slumping on his courtside chair and sobbing as a physio and tournament referee attended him. In the end, it was Federer's game. The Swiss native claimed victory in less than two hours.
