The stars were out in New York on Monday to celebrate the International Emmy Awards. The ceremony celebrates the best television worldwide. Norway won their first ever award for drama series "Mammon II" - one of only 11 trophies handed out. The United Kingdom won big - Kenneth Branagh taking a gong home for his role in Wallander... and Anna Friel accepting an Emmy for her role in Marcella. Steve Coogan winning too, for his role as Alan Partridge in 'Scissored Isle'. (SOUNDBITE) (English) STEVE COOGAN, COMEDIAN AND EXECUTIVE PRODUCER, SAYING: "It's great to have a nod from the Emmys because this show did particular well in the U.K. And we had a bunch of nominations and won a few things and that was very gratifying. But to get an international nod, especially from the Emmys is great." Hosted by comedian Maz Jobrani, gongs were given out to winners from 8 countries - including Belgium, Canada, France and Germany Monday's event marked the 45th year the International Emmys have taken place.
