ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Lebanese Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri told his supporters on Wednesday (November 22) that he would stay with them, after suspending his resignation at the request of President Michel Aoun. After returning to Lebanon for the first time since his shock resignation on November 4, Hariri addressed a crowd of cheering supporters gathered outside his home. Earlier on Wednesday Hariri announced he was suspending his resignation to allow for dialogue, easing a political crisis that had deepened tensions around the Middle East. Hariri said all sides in Lebanon must commit themselves to keeping the country out of regional conflicts, a reference to the Iran-backed political and military movement Hezbollah, a member of the Lebanese government.
